1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ID Scanner ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ID Scanner is a mobile application that scans physical ID documents (driver's licenses, passports, national ID cards) using on-device optical character recognition (OCR) and stores extracted data locally on your device. The App is developed and published by Bulpara Inc.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. The App is intended for personal use to digitize and organize your own identity documents. You must not use the App to scan, copy, or store identity documents belonging to others without their explicit consent.

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

The App uses automated optical character recognition to extract text from ID documents. OCR results may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You should always verify extracted data against the original document. The App is a convenience tool and is not a substitute for official identity documents.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, icons, and branding, is the intellectual property of Bulpara Inc. and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Your scanned data and extracted information belong to you and are stored solely on your device.

6. Subscription Terms

Premium features require an active subscription. Pricing:

• Monthly: $3.99/month
• Annual: $29.99/year (includes 7-day free trial)

Subscriptions are managed through Google Play. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Google Play's terms and policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Settings.

7. Free Tier Limitations

The free tier includes:

• Up to 3 ID scans per day (resets at midnight local time)
• Basic OCR text extraction
• Advertisement-supported experience

The following features are reserved for Premium subscribers: unlimited scans, barcode and MRZ parsing, biometric app lock, data export, custom fields, and expiry reminders.

8. Prohibited Use

You must not use the App for:

• Identity theft, fraud, or impersonation
• Unauthorized copying or distribution of others' identity documents
• Any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international laws
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
• Circumventing any feature limitations or security measures

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Bulpara Inc. does not warrant that OCR extraction will be error-free or that the App will be uninterrupted. In no event shall Bulpara Inc. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All data processing occurs on-device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your scanned data on any external server.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for users who violate these terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it, which will permanently delete all locally stored data.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
