1. Introduction

ID Scanner ("the App") is developed by Bulpara Inc. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data. The key takeaway: your data never leaves your device.

2. Information We Collect

The App collects scanned ID data (names, ID numbers, dates, addresses, document photos) when you use the scanning feature. This data is stored ONLY on your device in an encrypted local database. We do not have access to your scanned data and it is never transmitted to any external server.

3. Camera Access

The App requires camera access exclusively for scanning ID documents. Camera images are processed on-device using Google ML Kit Text Recognition and are not transmitted, uploaded, or shared. Captured images are stored in app-internal storage accessible only to the App.

4. On-Device Processing

All OCR text recognition and barcode scanning is performed entirely on your device using Google ML Kit (bundled models). No images, text, or extracted data are sent to any cloud service or external API. The App functions fully offline.

5. Advertising (Free Tier)

The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage data in accordance with Google's privacy policy. Premium subscribers see zero advertisements and no ad-related data collection occurs. For details, see Google AdMob Privacy.

6. Subscription Data

Premium subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not receive, process, or store any payment information. Subscription management is handled entirely by Google Play.

You can delete individual scanned IDs or all stored data from within the App at any time. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored data including scanned documents, preferences, and settings.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the App, uninstalling it will remove all stored data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
